Breweries & Distilleries
Our wine is famous in the Finger Lakes, but our craft beverage scene is catching up quickly! There are over 80 breweries, distilleries and cideries found in the Finger Lakes, each taking their own unique twist on your favorite ales, lagers, stouts and IPAs.
Ithaca Beer Company is brewing up world class beer, like their Flower Power IPA or well-loved Apricot Wheat. Prison City Pub & Brewery grabs attention for their sours, creatively called names like Cherry Poppins and Cool Hand Cuke. Rooster Fish Brewing has a rotating tap with small batch beers and seasonal or special brews. In the taprooms, the breweries are consistently serving up delicious food to pair with their concocted creations. Some offer beer gardens and lawn games in the summer, for a fun and relaxed afternoon activity.
The cideries and distilleries are not to be overlooked either. True to its name, Apple Country Spirits is known for its vodka, distilled from apples grown right on the property. The Finger Lakes Cider House at Good Life Farm is the hub of the region’s hard cider renaissance, open seven days a week for tastings, flights, draft pours and bottles.
There is no wrong way to sip and savor these spots. Pick a favorite pour or take a trail (such as the Finger Lakes Craft Beer Trail or ROC/FLX Craft Beverage Trail) and try them all!
