January 2020 marks the start of Kettle Ridge Farm’s sixth Adopt-a-Maple season! Come out to the spectacular maple sugarbush on any of nine Sundays for an unforgettable winter experience. Tag your adopted maple tree and help Kettle Ridge tap it. See how maple syrup is made in the sugarhouse and sample it in the tasting room. Sit down for a hot pancake breakfast in the barn, complete with maple syrup, sausage, and a drink. Your annual adoption includes the tour, tapping, tasting, and two tickets for breakfast (additional meals available for purchase), along with a certificate containing a photo of your tree along with its GPS coordinates. You will also receive a follow-up package containing Kettle Ridge Farm maple syrup, maple candy, and maple granola, and free admission to the fall KettleFest. Reservations are required for Adopt-a-Maple; please see the website for details. However, you are welcome to come out to the farm for the pancake breakfast even if you are not adopting a maple tree (we suggest you call ahead). Thank you for supporting local sustainable farming!
