SUSQUEHANNA RIVER

Green GOTW FishThe Susquehanna River in the southern region of the Finger Lakes is 444 miles long and is the longest river on the East Coast of the U.S. The name "Susquehanna" comes from the Delaware Indigenous People name meaning "Oyster River" because oyster beds were widespread towards the Chesapeake Bay where the river drains.
