Located in a historic barn, the building in which the winery resides is older than 170 years old. Just like the Barnstormer pilots of the 1920s, they make it their mission to entertain and provide guests with an unforgettable experience. Visit Barnstormer on Seneca Lake, just four miles north of Watkins Glen on Highway Route 14. With an annual production of around 3000 cases, they produce a wide variety of wines using 100% Finger Lakes grapes sourced from some of the finest vineyards around Seneca and Cayuga Lake. Their focus is on dry, European style white and red wines, however, they do have a small selection of sweet wines as well. You will be sure to find something you love! Their renovated winery maintains a lot of the charm you would expect to find in a 170-year-old rustic barn. They incorporate that design into their laid back tasting room where you can relax, enjoy great wines, and experience a slice of the Finger Lakes wine region that you will be sure to remember. Since they do not distribute their wines, they only sell out of their tasting room location and through their online store.
