Founded in 1943, Famous Artists presents a series of five nationally touring Broadway shows, plus several "extra" events throughout the year. The portion of Madison St. that runs between the Mulroy Civic Center and the War Memorial Arena has been named "Bernthal Way" in honor of the founders of Famous Artists, who still continue to contribute to the theater and performing arts in Central New York.
