Brave Women of Winter 2

Welcome to the Finger Lakes, Where Brave Women Winter

History tells us that it takes a brave woman to thrive in a Finger Lakes winter. Trailblazers like Harriet Tubman, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and the Iroquois matriarchs carved out a new future for all of us in this fiercely beautiful region. As the epicenter of the women’s rights movement, the Finger Lakes region celebrates women both past and present in 2020. This monumental year marks the centennial of the 19th amendment, which gave women the right to vote.

This season, come celebrate their bravery and experience their stories on a visit to the Finger Lakes. While you’re here, you can also support the innovative and creative women who are blazing their own trails in business. Be sure to check out our comprehensive list of women-owned breweries, wineries, restaurants, and boutiques and add some to your itinerary!

Keep up with us on Facebook and Instagram! Don't forget to use #bravewomenflx and tag @BraveWomenFLX in your posts while you're out celebrating your Brave Women!
