Day One
Combgrown Mead – Auburn, NY
Try a new take on a classic beverage at Combgrown Mead. Owner and brewer Elaine Ferrier crafts session meads, also known as honey wines. But the meads at Combgrown are more similar in style to craft beers, as they are carbonated and lighter in alcohol content. Stop by to enjoy a flight of creative drinks before continuing on your day.
Sterling Nature Center – Sterling, NY
Wander through this unique park that features glacially formed bluffs with scenic vistas of Lake Ontario. During the snow season, Sterling Nature Center is open to cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and hiking. You can even borrow snowshoes here! With 11 trails ranging from .5 miles to 11 miles in length, many options await for exploration, discovery, inspiration, learning, and tranquility.
New York State Equal Rights Heritage Center – Auburn, NY
You will learn about New York State’s progressive history supporting equality through interactive displays that come to life as you wander around the state-of-the-art exhibits at the NYS Equal Rights Heritage Center. Experience the creative ways trailblazing women organized a stand for justice and learn about the key contributors from the 1800s to modern day. The center also includes a Taste of NY store featuring local products and provides information on the region’s many attractions and destinations.

Located in the historic town of Seneca Falls, where the first Women’s Rights Convention was held in 1848, it’s a dynamic, evolutionary place with an impact upon women’s lives—past, present, and future. Currently there are 293 inductees across all walks of life and professions, from Susan B. Anthony, Harriet Tubman, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, to Lucille Ball, Oprah Winfrey and 2021 Inductee, Michelle Obama. Wander about browsing the exhibits that celebrate the Inductees, and showcase stimulating stories of past and present hard-won achievements.
