Originally located behind the home of his in-laws in Elmira, Mark Twain’s writing study was relocated to the campus of Elmira College where it could be accessed by the public. It was in this study that the author first penned many of his most renowned books, including The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, while summering with his family for 20+ years.
